Barça and Juventus, No goals conceded

Out of all the clubs in the six biggest European football leagues, only two have yet to concede a goal this season. Those two teams are FC Barcelona and Juventus, who have proven to be defensive juggernauts in the season's opening month. Luis Enrique's men have been almost flawless through the first six matches (five in La Liga and one in the Champions League) and haven't seen an opponent score even one goal. The same goes for Italian club Juventus, who have completed five matches (four in Serie A and one in the Champions League) with nothing but clean sheets for goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon. Both teams are currently co-leaders of their respective domestic leagues and Champions League groups.

The next best defensive clubs on the Old Continent this season have been Italian giants Roma and Inter, who have only given up one Serie A goal each. Portuguese club FC Porto gave up their first goal of the season last weekend, as did German club Cologne in their fifth Bundesliga match.

The rest of the top 10 European clubs least scored upon this season have all given up just two goals. They are French club Lille, German sides Bayern Munich and Borussia Monchengladbach, and Valencia, who play Cordoba this Thursday.

In the English Premier League it is Southampton who have the best defence this season with just three goals against after five matches.
