Dani Alves declared fit and named in squad

The Brazilian full-back replaces Adriano with respect to the last eighteen, while there are no places for Bartra, Douglas, Sergi Roberto or Masip

Luis Enrique has named his 18 players for the trip to San Sebastian to face Real Sociedad. Dani Alves has been given medical clearance following his hamstring injury and replaces Adriano with respect to the last squad before Christmas.

Marc Bartra, Douglas, Sergi Roberto and Jordi Masip all miss out, but Munir of Barça B gets the nod.

The complete squad is thus as follows: Ter Stegen, Bravo, Montoya, Piqué, Rakitic, Sergio, Xavi, Pedro, Iniesta, Suárez, Messi, Neymar, Rafinha, Mascherano, Jordi Alba, Dani Alves, Mathieu and Munir.

The team is travelling to the Basque Country today Sunday for a 9.00pm (CET) kick-off in what could be the first of as many as eight games in January.
