The Captains

The captains of the Club’s four professional sections are all tipping Barça to take the points from the Bernabeu on Sunday. For the basketball captain Joan Carlos Navarro: “Real Madrid  are leaders and a defeat would make it hard for us to pull them back in, but after the win against Osasuna and the way the team is motivated, I think they have the confidence to go there and, I hope, to come away with a win”.

Víctor Tomàs, the handball captain, reckons: “I hope we get a lot of goals – it means we’ll enjoy it, even if we have to suffer a bit and of course I hope we win and go on to win the league”. For  Jordi Torras, the futsal captain: “ form doesn’t count in a game like this. I think the team who can control things will come out winners and I hope Barça lay down a marker”.

Finally, the roller hockey captain Aitor Egurrola reckons: “I think both teams are coming into the game in good form. Maybe there were some questions about Barça, but the win against Osasuna answered them I think. I believe we’ll see an open game with both teams looking to attack”.
