The victory away to Málaga allow Barça to close out the first half of the season with a record 55 out of 57 points

FC Barcelona’s first half of the season was almost picture perfect. With this Sunday’s win over Málaga, Tito Vilanova’s men closed out the first half of the domestic competition with 55 out of 57 possible points, a new all-time high record in the history of the La Liga. The previous record was set in the 2010/11 season (52 points). In their first 19 matches of the season, Blaugrana have scored 64 goals and conceded 20 .
