The squad were back in training this Friday morning - their first since the defeat to Celtic on Wednesday night – with attention firmly fixed on Sunday’s La Liga trip to Mallorca. Carles Puyol was back training normally with the rest of the players for the first time since he dislocated his elbow on October 2nd in Lisbon. The captain had been working out on his own in the training session over the last few days, but today marked his return to full training.

Tito Vilanova was also able to work with Sergio Busquets, who missed the Celtic game through suspension, whilst Tello, Quintillà and Miguel Angel from the B team were also at the session.

Just as he did on Monday, Thiago Alcántara continued his recovery programme training apart from the rest of the group.

The players will be back in training at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper at 17.00 on Saturday, before travelling to Mallorca for Sunday’s 17.50 kick off.
