Five FC Barcelona players attended the inauguration of FIFPro's new headquarters in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands

Carles Puyol, Gerard Piqué, Cesc Fàbregas, Xavi Hernández and Marc Bartra visited the FIFPro headquarters this Wednesday in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands, to show their support to the players’ football associations represented by the organisation.

The FC Barcelona players attended a lecture given by former international referee Hugh Dallas, and they attended a conference on the ‘eye in the sky’ camera. Members of the 50 players’ associations and the Barça players then sat down for a brief Q&A session.

“The fact that Cesc, Xavi, Piqué, Puyol and Bartra visited us in person shows the respect and solidarity that the Barça players have for their fellow footballers and players’ unions from around the world,” said the secretary general of FIFPro, Theo van Seggelen.
