Shortly before the Milan v Barça match, www.fcbarcelona.cat has spoken to Michael Reiziger about his two former sides. The 38 year old Dutchman, who retired in 2007, has few doubts. "I think Barça will win this game. They have a better team and play better," he said, but added that beating Milan would not be easy. "They are an Italian team, who always keep things tight and leave few spaces. It'll be difficult."

Reiziger claimed he was surprised that the first game ended 2-2, because "I thought Barça would win, but Milan got an early goal and that benefited their style ... But Wednesday will be a different match, because they're playing at the San Siro and Milan might attack more and leave more room at the back. And Barça can score at any time."

Favourites to win again

In fact, he doesn't only believe that Barcelona will top the group, but that they will also go on to win the trophy. "From the way they play, I think Barça has been the best team in Europe for years. And they are continuing along those lines... Of all the last twenty years, Barça has the best chance to retain the title."
