Víctor Valdés was welcomed to today’s training session with a warm round of applause. His teammates wanted to congratulate their goalkeeper for his 30th birthday. Víctor Valdés started playing for the Club in 1992, he came from the Barça Penya ‘Cinco Copas.’ He made his debut for the team in the 2002/03 season, he consolidated himself as the first-team keeper in the 2003/04 season.

Since then, Valdés has won 18 titles defending Barça’s goal and has been recognized as a world class keeper. Valdés has won three Champions Leagues, five league titles, one King’s Cup, two European Super Cups, five Spanish Super Cups and two Club World Cups.
