FC Barcelona learned on Saturday the name of another of the teams they could face in the World Club Cup, which will be played from 8th to 18th December in JapanAl-Sadd, from Qatar, were proclaimed winners of the Asia Champions League on Saturday, beating Korea's Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in a penalty shootout 4-2, after the 90 minutes plus extra time ended in a 2-2 draw.

Five rivals so far

Al-Sadd join four other teams that have already booked their place in the World Club Cup finals.  Barça qualify as European Champions, together with Monterrey (Mexico) as champions of CONCACAF, Auckland City (New Zealand) as champions of Oceania, and Santos (Brazil) as winners of the Copa Libertadores.

Two more places in the finals remain to be taken.  The African champion will be decided in a double-header between Wydad Casablanca (Morocco) and Espérance Tunis (Tunisia) on 6th and 12th of November.  The last place will go to the champions of the Japanese League as tournament hosts.
