Barça 3–1 HC Sant Just: First game in the bag

Two goals from Bargalló and a strike from João Rodrigues hand the blaugranes the win in the first game of their quarter final league play off

A valuable victory for FC Barcelona as Edu Castro's team overcame HC Sant Just 3-1 in the first game of their OK league quarter final play off.  The visitors did not make it easy for the blaugranes but two goals from Bargalló and another from João Rodrigues was enough for victory.

The game got off to a perfect start with Bargalló making it 1-0 in just the second minute with a perfectly placed shot. Two minutes later João Rodrigues provided the assist for Bargalló to get his second and put Edu Castro's team in control.

Nevertheless, more goals failed to arrive for the home side and just before half time, San Just pulled one back to make it 2-1 at the break, Edu Fernández the scorer.

In the second both keepers, Carles Grau for Barça and Elagi Deitg for San Just, showed their talent as goals were again hard to come by. Sant Just almost levelled things up when Pujalte hit the post in the 32nd minute.

However, just when Sant Just felt they had a chance in the Palau, João Rodrigues made the final score 3-1 with a penalty to give the blaugranes the best possible start to the play off.
