Barça take a 2-0 lead in the league title play off after an excellent 4-1 win at home over Deportivo Liceo thanks to goals from Helder Nunes, João Rodrigues, Pau Bargalló and Marc Grau. The tie now moves to La Coruña and the blaugranes need just one win to claim the OK League title.
Excellent first half
The blaugranes got off to the best possible start when Helder Nunes put them ahead after just two minutes of the encounter. Barça keeper Sergi Fernández then showed his value for the team with a series of excellent saves to keep the home side ahead.
Just when it seemed that Barça would have a slender lead at the break, João Rodrigues made it 2-0 at the break with goal from a rebound inside the box.
In the second half Barça keeper Sergi Fernández continued to play a crucial role in preventing Liceo getting back into the game with his saves. Pau Bargalló eased Barça's plight with an excellent third goal that had the Palau on their feet.
Five minutes later Marc Grau added another to give the home side a comfortable 4-0 lead. David Torres pulled one back for Deportivo but it was not enough to prevent Barça taking a 2-0 lead in the tie which continues next Thursday in La Coruña in Galicia.
