Top spot in the OK League continues to belong to Barça after Edu Castro's team recorded a 7-3 win over PAS Alcoi in the Palau Blaugrana to maintain their 100% record after nine games in the competition.
An electrifying first half saw the blaugranes take control of the game in which both Pau Bargalló and Sergi Llorca scored hat-tricks, the other goal coming from Marc Grau.
Festival of attacking hockey
Barça started the more switched on of the two teams and Pau Bargalló maintained his record of scoring in every game this season in the OK League to hand the home side the lead after just five minutes. The same player added a second a minute and Llorca made it 3-0 with just 10 minutes gone.
Alcoi pulled one back from the penalty spot through Gonzalo Pérez before Llorca and Grau made it 5-1. Bargalló finished well to round off a first half hat-trick before Formatjé made it 6-2 at the break.
In the second half the two goalkeepers, Carles Grau for Barça and Alcoi's 'Guiri' made several excellent saves to keep the scoring down after the break. It took 12 minutes of the second period for Llorca to find the net and claim his hat-trick. Ivan Morales' goal for Alcoi made the final score 7-3 with Barça's next game on 6 December away at Parlem Calafell.
