FC Barcelona 5-3 Reus Deportiu: Series levelled

Goals from João (2), Bargalló (2) and Matias Pascual mean the semi-final is now tied on one game each

Barça bounced back from defeat in the opening game of their OK Liga semi-final with Reus by winning 5-3 at the Palau Blaugrana, although they are still battling on without home court advantage in what is turning out to be a very tight contest indeed.

The better hockey seemed to be blaugrana on Monday night, with João Rodrigues and Pau Bargalló both netting twice and Matias Pascual getting the other in the 80th edition of the roller hockey ‘clasico’ at the Palau Blaugrana.

Barça looked to be on fine course when they led 3-1, but the visitors found two goals to square up on three each.

João Rodrigues then re-established the Barça lead and any chance of overtime was ended when the league’s top scorer, Pau Bargalló, powered in a free kick in the 49th minutes.

The Palau d'Esports in Reus is the venue for game three on Friday at 8.30pm CEST.
