FC Barcelona celebrates 50 years of roller hockey at the Palau on May 14

The occasion coincides with the first game of the quarter final series in the OK Liga

Saturday 14 May at noon is a big day for Barça roller hockey as it celebrates fifty years of the sport at the Palau Blaugrana in the build-up to the opening game of the Parlem OK Liga quarter final series against Recam Làser Caldes.

There will be activities happening outside the pavilion for all the family starting at 10.30am, including the chance to test their shooting skills with plenty of gifts to be won. Team legends will also be on hand to sign autographs, and there will be a special show with performances by the Brodas Bros, Barça Dance Team and many other surprises.

At half-time there will be a special tribute to some of the team's former players who have graced this venue over the years since the very first game played here, against Reus in October 1971.
