Reus Deportiu – Barça Lassa: Victory slips away at the end (4-4)

A goal six seconds from time denies the blaugranes victory in a close encounter

A draw between two unbeaten side, Reus Deportiu and Barça Lassa in a game in which Edu Castro's team came within a whisker of victory. The blaugranes were leading 4-2 with just over 10 minutes to go before Marc Julià scored twice for Reus to earn the home side a share of the points, the equaliser coming with just six seconds of the game remaining.

Before the game Reus formed a guard of honour for Barça after the latter's recent victory in the Intercontinental Cup in Argentina. A goal from Joao Rodrigues gave the visitors a lead at half time and Barça Lassa seemed set for victory when Gual and Pascual's efforts were added to by a second from Joao to make it 4-2 with 11 minutes to go. However, Reus' Marc Julià had other ideas and his two goals made the final score 4-4 with Barça Lassa remaining unbeaten in the OK League and top of the table going into 2019.
