Galicia, Nantes and Andorra among the destinations for the side coached by Sito Alonso as part of their warm-up programme
The FC Barcelona Lassa basketball team’s seven-match preseason schedule has been confirmed.
It starts with a trip to Galicia in northwest Spain to play Breogán and Obradoiro in the first week of September, the latter a testimonial for former player Quino Salvo.
Next up, it’s a four-way tournament in Nantes, France, where the Catalans will be joined by Valencia Basket, Monaco and Nanterre.
The team will then set up base at Encamp, Andorra, where they will also have games against a touring team from Argentina, San Lorenzo de Almagro, and with Iberostar Tenerife, the venues of which have yet to be confirmed.
Sito Alonso’s side will then head down to Platja d’Aro on the Catalan coast, where they’ll be joined by the internationals that have been away at the European Championships with their countries.
The final exhibition match, also at a venue to be decided, is against UCAM Murcia, who feature former FCB men Oleson and Faverani in their ranks.
