Xavi Hernández to feature in the first episode of Barça One 'The Album' series

Xavi Hernández is set to feature in the first episode of "The Album", the series that will soon become available to watch on the Club's video streaming platform, Barça One. At a Barça Studios set converted into a photo studio, FC Barcelona's coach will take a look through his career based on the best snapshots. Some of the best moments of this first episode include his stunning playing career for Barça, his debut in the first team under Louis van Gaal, the arrival of Rijkaard and Ronaldinho, the glorious period under Guardiola, injuries, and his emotional and successful goodbye as a 2015 Champions League winner.

"The Album" is a series that will feature the Club's legends and another two episodes of this unique content will soon be available to watch on Barça One, featuring FC Barcelona's sporting director, Deco, and the Barça Atlètic coach, Rafa Márquez.

A new free streaming platform

As part of a commitment to audiovisual production and culture, FC Barcelona announced the launch of Barça One a few weeks ago. The new free, worldwide OTT service will offer top quality content based on a Barça theme. The project democratises the club's audiovisual material by making it available for free around the planet, something unprecedented until now.

Barça One is the natural and necessary evolution of Barça TV+ and is fruit of the Club's vision to create leading content for the entertainment industry. This new project will include 1,500 hours of video, with past content produced while Barça TV was in operation (games, programmes, reports, historical features, etc.) and brand new programming featuring all the latest blaugrana news.

The first exclusive content to be shown on Barça One will be “Orígenes | Araujo”, a documentary about Ronald Araujo that was premiered in Espai Texas in Barcelona this month.
