The FC Barcelona board of directors has approved the official recognition of the Penya Tsunami Blaugrana, which thus becomes the 60th official penya in the city of Barcelona and the third in Gracia neighbourhood
The club has 125 members and expects to grow exponentially, as it works to build relationships among Barça supporters. It will be informing about and promoting attendance of games played all the club's different teams both home and away, with a special focus on the women's team, which was the main motivation behind the club's foundation.
The penya also plans to hold cultural events, such a film forums showing historical documentaries about FC Barcelona, photography and literature competitions. It also hopes to organise activities for younger fans.
Penya Tsunami Blaugrana also looks forward to forging relationships with other Barça penyes in the area, by attending their events and organising others together.
