Blaugrana day for Gündoğan

İlkay Gündoğan was all smiles this Sunday 16 July as he explored different parts of his new club's facilities, including the Barça Cafe, Barça Store and Barça Immersive Tour. 

After arriving at Barcelona Airport and saying a few words to the media earlier in the day, a busy Sunday ended with a look around the Spotify Camp Nou. 

While taking the tour, he got to admire reminders of so many of the club's great achievements over the years, and naturally added his name to the many others in the guest book. He then got to enjoy a coffee in the Barça Cafe, as well as cakes decorated with the Barça colours and crest. He even dared give a mark out ten to the coffee, saying with a wide grin on his face that “I'll give it a 9, because the coffee I make at home is really, really good."

His final stop was the Barça Store, where he got to print his own name on the back of the new 2023/24 home strip, in which he posed with the Més que un Club sign in the background.

Tomorrow Monday also promises to be a very big one for Gündoğan for he is due to sign his contract, be officially presented and then face questions from the media. You can read all about here on the official website...
