The Barça women’s team are off to the United States, where they’ll be competing in the International Champions Cup from August 18 to 21. Their flight left El Prat Airport on Sunday morning at 8.00am CEST and they’ll be touching down in Seattle some time around 7.00pm PDT.
There are 22 players in the travelling party: Paños, Paredes, Jana, María León, Melanie, Pina, Graham, Marta, Mariona, Alexia, Patri, Aitana, A. Pereira, Crnogorcevic, Bruna, Oshoala, Martens, Gemma, Ari Mingueza, María Molina, María Pérez and Meritxell Muñoz.
Lieke Martens has re-joined the squad just in time for the trip after taking a break after representing Holland at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Barça have a game against Olympique Lyonnais this Wednesday at Providence Park, Portland, in what will be a re-run of the Champions League Final of 2018/19, while the other semi pits the Houston Dash against the Portland Thorns. The 3/4 place playoff and final will be played at the same venue on Saturday
