On Sunday at 12.00pm CEST, a place in the Women's Champions League Final in Gothenburg is the prize

This is the third time Barça and PSG have met in the Champions League. The 2015/16 quarter final was the first time the Miniestadi was packed for a women’s game, with an attendance of 8,639.

Barça dominated possession in the first leg (45% v 55%), made more passes (299 v 435) and had more shots (9 v 12). 

Alexia Putellas played her 50th game in the Champions League in Paris and tops the list, closely followed by Marta Torrejón with 49.

Jenni Hermoso is the top scorer in the current Women’s Champions League with six goals.

Only Rosengard full back Sofie Svava (3) has made more assists than Kadidiatou Diani and Marta Torrejón (2). 

Although they have played one fewer game, PSG have committed more fouls than anyone in the competition (64).

With 126 for Barça and 108 for PSG, these are the two teams that have taken the most shots in the competition.

Barça are the second highest goalscorers (20), only topped by Bayern Munich (21).

Sunday will be first women’s European fixture with fans at the Estadi Johan Cruyff (1,000 maximum) since October 2019. 

Barça are looking to play in the final for the second time, following on from 2019, while PSG appeared in 2015 and 2017. Neither side has ever won the title.

This week marks the second anniversary of the historic 1-0 defeat of Bayern that sent the team to Budapest. That was the last time the now gone Miniestadi filled to capacity.
