Barça 5-3 Igualada: Comeback at the Palau!

An important victory for Barça at the Palau Blaugrana. Edu Castro's team had to work hard and were able to comeback thanks to goals from Bargalló in the first half, and from Joao, Alabart, Pascual and Panadero in the second half. A result that allows the blaugranes to close 2020 at the Palau with a win (the next two games are away, against Taradell and Vic).

Barça went ahead through a shot inside the area by Pau Bargalló, after an assist by Ignacio Alabart (1-0, min 6), but their joy didn't last long. Ton Baliu's fine finish had the visitors level within a minute (1-1, min 7), before Tety Vives gave them the lead (1-2, min 8).

Triple stop

Sergi Fernández had to make a triple stop from Roger Bars' penalty (min 19) whilst Hélder Nunes couldn't gain an advantage for Barça from a direct foul (min 25). Joao Rodrigues equalised after a free kick by Hélder Nunes (2-2, min 29), and Ignacio Alabart put Barça ahead again with a shovel shot that beat Elagi (3-2, min 34).

Panadero, in a counterattack, put the hosts further ahead (4-2, min 39), before Bernat Yeste pulled one back (4-3, min 46). A minute later, Matias Pascual turned in the area and made it 5-3 (min 47). It's a win that leaves Barça with 28 points from 11 games, with two games left in 2020.
