How did our players do over the international break?

We review how the blaugranes did with their national teams, whether in Euro2020 qualifiers or friendly games

Another international break is over, so it's time to take stock of how well Barça's internationals did with their respective countries.

De Jong

180 minutes carrying the baton in the Dutch midfield, De Jong was one of the key components in Holland's two qualifying matches for Euro2020. He was outstanding in the two wins, 3-1 against Northern Ireland and 1-2 against Belarus. Now his country are top of group C, and with 15 points, they share the leadership with Ter Stegen's Germany.

Ter Stegen

Two matches for Joachim Löw's side, one as a starter and one as a substitute. He played the entire friendly against Argentina (2-2), but was not part of Germany's 3-0 win against Estonia, a Euro2020 qualifier. Against the South American's, Ter Stegen, who returned to Dortmund's stadium after a stellar performance with Barça in the Champions League, couldn't help his side to victory.

Rakitic

The leader of group E managed four points from their two Euro2020 qualifying matches. With Rakitic in midfield, Croatia won in Hungary (3-0) and drew against Wales (1-1). The Barça No.4 played 74 minutes in the Croatian victory and 45 in Cardiff.

Arthur

Two starts in Brazil's friendlies in Singapore. However, he didn't finish either game. Against Wague's Senegal he played for 68 minutes, whilst he managed 80 against Nigeria. Both ended in a 1-1 draw.

Semedo

90 minutes against Luxembourg (3-0) and 90 against Ukraine (2-1). In the first game, his shot was spilled by the keeper and Bernardo Silva scored. In the second, Semedo couldn't help earn a victory in Kiev. Having played a game less than the leader in group B, Portugal have 11 points, eight behind Ukraine.

Busquets

Two Euro2020 qualifiers, during which Spain achieved qualification to the tournament proper. Sergio played 90 minutes in the first match against Norway (1-1), but stayed on the bench in the draw against Sweden (1-1).

Ansu Fati and Cuenca

Ansu Fati made his official debut with the Spanish U21 team, coming on in the 79th minute against Montenegro (0-2). This third qualifying match for Euro21, with Jorge Cuenca as a starter, was the third win in three games for Luis de la Fuente's side.

Griezmann and Lénglet

180 official minutes for Griezmann and Lénglet with France. The Barça striker and defender participated in the win against Iceland (0-1) and in the draw against Turkey (1-1). Les Bleus now have 19 points, the same as Turkey, who occupy top spot in group H in the race for automatic qualification for Euro2020.

Todibo

After starting the game against Sevilla at Camp Nou, Todibo travelled to Marbella with the French U20 squad for two friendlies. In the win against Norway (1-2), the Barça defender played for 90 minutes. However, in the second game, France 1 - Sweden 0, he remained on the bench.

Arturo Vidal

183 minutes played across two friendlies against Colombia (0-0) and Guinea (3-1). Arturo Vidal played an important role in the two matches at the Estadio José Rico Pérez in Alicante. The Barça midfielder, captain of the Chilean national team, rounded off his international break with the third goal in the win against Guinea.
