Carles Puyol is out with a knee injury and Alves with soleus trouble, but Adriano is available once again Adama also trained today and has been included in the team for Bilbao
FC Barcelona were at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper today for the final training session before the trip to Bilbao to play Athletic Club. Gerardo Martino was missing Carles Puyol, who has a knee injury, but had all of his other fit players at his disposition on Saturday morning.
Dani Alves started the session but pulled out half way through. The Brazilian was having trouble with his right soleus and has been dropped from Saturday’s squad as a precautionary measure. Cristian Tello is also missing as he is still recovering from sprained ankle ligaments.
Adriano declared fit
The only player to get medical clearance today was Adriano Correia, and he has been included in the squad of 18 along with Barça B’s Adama Traoré and Patric, who will travelling to Bilbao directly from Cordoba on Sunday.
