FC Barcelona ready to go
In after winning three of four exhibition games in the preseason, Barça looks ready to rumble. Five new faces have joined forces with traditional mainstays and the brilliant tactics of head coach Xavi Pascual to form a formidable challenge to anyone standing in their way.
Pascual is embarking on his seventh season with the club and has come away highly satisfied with the work his players put in to date. "We've got some new players, but don't let that fool you. We're here for one thing: to win," said Pascual.
And with that the stage is set for Deshaun Thomas, Tomas Satoransky, Justin Doellman, Tibor Pleiss and Markus Eriksson to make their official debuts this evening.
Tonight's game will be a rematch of last season's semi-final when Barcelona came away victorious, 98-73.
