The Board of Directors convened in an ordinary session on the 18th of November. Among several issues on the agenda was the approval of seven new FC Barcelona supporters’ clubs.
Three supporters’ clubs from Catalunya and one each from Cuenca, Granada, Lebanon, and Switzerland are set to join the Barça family of more than 1,200 supporters’ clubs with over 150,000 supporters. This demonstrates the Club’s desire to continue worldwide growth beginning in Barça’s home territory.
The supporters’ clubs approved this session were:
- Penya Barcelonista de Beirut (Lebanon)
- Peña Barcelonista Comarca de Huescar (Huescar, Granada)
- Peña Barcelonista Tarancón (Tarancón, Cuenca)
- Penya Blaugrana de Basel (Basel, Switzerland)
- Penya Barcelonista Special Barça (Barcelona)
- Penya Barcelonista d’Alella (Alella, Barcelona)
- Penya Blaugrana Terra Ferma (Barcelona)
