Barça's rivals for first place in Group F of this season's Champions' League, Paris Saint Germain, recorded an important 2-0 victory over league leaders Marseille in the French League at the weekend. Goals from Lucas Moura and Cavani gave Laurent Blanc's side a valuable three points at the Parc des Princes and moves them to within a point of the side who are coached by former Argentina and Athletic Bilbao man Marcelo Bielsa. PSG meet Barça at Camp Nou in the final group game of the Champions' League on the 10th of December.
APOEL trip up against bottom side
Before facing the Parisian outfit, Barça have to face APOEL away in Nicosia. Giorgos Donis' team were held to a goalless draw against bottom side Doxa Katokopias in a game in which APOEL could not find a way through a well organised visiting defence in the GSP Stadium. The draw leaves APOEL still top of the table with four point lead over second place Apollon who they will face before their home game in Group F against FC Barcelona on the 25th of November.
