FC Barcelona roller hockey side returned to action in the OK League after a two and a half week break with a comfortable 8-2 victory away at Alcoi. A hat trick from Torra, two from Panadero and goals from Pablo Álvarez, Gual and Pascual allow Barça to remain top of the table with 64 points.
The blaugranes were impeccable in the first half and got off to a perfect start, taking an early 2-0 lead thanks to two goals from Panadero. Strikes from Pablo Álvarez and then Gual put Ricard Muñoz’s side 4-0 before Alcoi fought back with two quick strikes to cut the deficit. A goal from Torra before the break restored the cushion and the half ended with Barça leading 5-2. The second half saw Torra complete his hat trick with two goals in 20 seconds to kill the game off as a contest. Pascual added another before the end to give the blaugranes a commanding victory against opponents who had made life difficult earlier in the season for the blaugranes.
