A victory but with casualties for FC Barcelona in San Mamés, three points but injuries for Dani Alves and Sergio Busquets. Both players were substituted during the win against Athletic and will undergo further tests on Monday.
In the opening game of the league season, the Brazilian full back came off initially with a groin problem after a quarter of an hour. He returned to the field of play but was unable to continue and was replaced by Sergi Roberto four minutes later.
Sergio Busquets was injured in a challenge with Athletic striker Aduriz. The blaugrana midfielder took a blow on the ankle and was taken off on a stretcher and replaced by Marc Bartra.
On Monday both players will undergo further tests to find out the extent of their injuries.
