Bada Huesca 32-35 Barça: Hard earned victory

The blaugranes had to work hard to overcome the side from Aragón with Richardson, Wanne and Mem the top scorers

There is no stopping Barça in the Asobal League as Carlos Ortega's team added another victory to their collection with a 35-32 win away at Bada Huesca.

The blaugranes started strongly with Melvyn Richardson and Wanne playing a part in building an early 10-7 lead. Nevertheless, the home side reacted well and took the lead at 14-12 before Barça levelled things up at 16-16 at half time.

Decisive second half performance

After a flurry of goals in the early stages of the second half, the blaugranes took control thanks to the goalkeeping of Pérez de Vargas and their solid defence. Once ahead at 27-22, Barça never relinquished the lead despite the best attempts of the home side for whom Daniel Arguillas in goal was outstanding. In the end Richardson and Mem's 13 goals between them were enough to guide the Catalans to a 35-32 win with the next game for Ortega's team on Wednesday 22 February at 8.45pm CET agianst MOL Pick Szeged in the Champions League.
