Kielce 28-39 Barça: And on to the final

FC Barcelona secure passage into the Super Globe final on Sunday

Kielce were a tough semi-final opponent, but Barça never really looked like anything other than winners as they marched into the final of the world club championship with an 11 point win over their Polish opponents. Magdeburg now stand between them and another trophy.

A 5-0 streak almost at the start of the game almost had this game decided before it has barely started. With Gonzalo Pérez de Vargas sensational in goal, the Catalans were +5 at the break, largely thanks to that blistering start.

In the second half, the goal was simply not to allow the Poles any hope of getting back into the game. And as Barça built their lead up to +13, it rapidly became clear that there wasn't much chance of that happening.

Clear victors today, Barça will now face Magdeburg at 7.30pm CEST for potentially the sixth Super Globe in club history.
