Barça 32–21 Unicaja Banco Sinfín: Festival atmosphere

The blaugranes pick up a convincing win as they show off the league trophy to the fans at the Palau

The penultimate chapter in the Liga Saycr Asobal has ended in happy fashion for the blauganes with a win in the Palau by 32-21 over Unicaja Banco Sinfín.

In the first half Carlos Ortega's team showed the confidence that came from having qualified for the Final Four in Cologne earlier this week with victory over Flensburg. The first quarter saw the home side take a comfortable advantage at 11-6 and there was more good news with Luis Frade reappearing after being out due to injury since November.

Barça pressed on in the second quarter and when half time came around they had a 19-8 lead over the visitors.

In the second half there was no let from the blaugranes as they punished the spaces left by Unicaja as they tried to get themselves back into the game. The lead at the end of the third quarter stood at 28-14 before Barça eased back slightly to take a 32-21 victory in their final home game of the campaign.
