A fine semi-final display in the Copa del Rey against Frigoríficos Morrazo (36-28) means that Barça will be playing for a ninth title in a row in Sunday's final at 7.00pm CEST.
Things started tight enough, and it wasn't until 7-5 that there was more than one goal between the teams. But the Galician resistance was finally ended by a 5-0 streak that meant the Catalans led 17-11 at the break.
Frigoríficos Morrazo did produce a reaction, but with Dika Mem and Aleix Gómez so solid in attack and Maciel producing some impressive saves, there was never much doubt who was going to go and win this, with Barça just looking stronger and fitter and now able to make preparations for the big night on Sunday.
