Barça 35 - 30 Telekom Veszprém: Important win

An important win and one that allows FC Barcelona to make amends for their defeat earlier in the season away at Hungarian side Telekom Veszprém. The 35-30 win leaves them in second place in the EHF Champions League with Dika Mem top scoring with eight goals and keeper Pérez de Vargas man of the match. 

The first half was an even affair with both sides having periods of domination. Both keepers excelled in the Palau in front of 2,579 fans and the opening half ended with the teams level at 13-13.

In the second half Barça slowly took control of the game and two goals from Janc saw them move ahead. Dika Mem found his scoring touch and Ariño's goal gave them a 26-21 lead which they never relinquished to run out 35-30 winners.
