The futsal Super Cup draw sees ElPozo face Barça and Movistar Inter against Antequera with both matches to be played Saturday 7 January and the final on Sunday. The competition will be played in a Final Four format in Alzira and Barça are the defending champions after their win in the tournament last season in Jerez, their third Super Cup title.
Jordi Torras: “We are in good shape”
The Barça futsal coordinator Jordi Torras reflected on the draw and his team's form going into the competitio: "Elimination from the Champions is a factor as it means that this is the first trophy for us," admitted Torras. "We have been drawn against a tough rival and they want to beat us but the positive thing is that the team gets back into a positive mindset, we will have important players back for the tournament and we are in shape to challenge for the trophy," he continued.
