Benfica v Barça in the Futsal Champions League semi-final

The draw at UEFA headquarters in Nyon paired Benfica and Barça in the second Champions League semi-final that will kick off at 8pm CEST on Friday, April 29 at the Riga Arena.

The first semi-final sees French team ACCS against Sporting Club, kick off at 5pm CEST. The final and the third place play off game will take place on Sunday, May 1, at 5pm CEST and 2pm CEST respectively.

Only one prior competitive meeting

Barça and Benfica have only faced each other once before in the Champions League, back in the 2018/19 season during the Main Round played in Halle. The game ended in a draw (1-1), with Esquerdinha scoring a free kick for Barça. Benfica went through to the Elite Round as group winners and Barça in second place on goal difference.
