Barça well deserved their victory at the Palau on the day that the fans returned. Levante, full of ex-Barça players, were always been behind on the scoreboard but sill gave a good account of themselves. A stellar performance from Barça goalkeeper, Òscar de la Faya, a starter due to the injuries of Dídac and Miquel Feixas, was decisive.
Two minutes of madness
In an electric start, Barça opened the scoring quickly, with a goal from Ximbinha (1-0, min 6), before former Barça player, Marc Tolrà, almost equalised (min 8). Adolfo assisted for Ferrao, allowing the hosts to extend the lead (2-0, min 10). Levante's post was hit before Daniel made it 3-0 with just 13 minutes on the clock.
Pedro Toro pulled one back (3-1, min 14) before Coelho responded immediately (4-1, min 14) and Pedro Toro went straight down the other end and scored again (4-2, min 14).
Things calmed down in the second half, Roger Serrano reducing Barça's advantage (4-3, 30 minutes). Oscar was having the game of his life in goal as, time and again, he repelled the pressure from the visitors. Thanks to his excellence between the posts, once Marcenio made it 5-3 with a minute to play, it was game over, although André Coelho still had time to round off the scoring (6-3, min 40).
