Opportunities for Barça's Dyego and Palma's Raúl Campos and Claudino opened a keenly contested game. The hosts struck first through Matheus after nine minutes, and that saw Nunes and Raúl Campos react immediately for the visitors. Only Dídac's brilliance stopped them going ahead.
Two minutes after the restart Vilela made it 1-1 and the match remained as open as it had in the first half. Palma Futsal were close to going ahead again, but Aicardo saved a goal on the line.
Three vital points
Barça's intensity eventually got its reward as some great play down the left side helped carve out a chance for Daniel to make it 2-1 (min 30). Both teams created further chances in a frantic end to the match, Barça hanging on at the end to earn three vital points.
