FIFA has announced the nominees for its The Best 2020 awards and in addition to Leo Messi being included in the men’s shortlist, there is plenty of representation from the women’s team.
Cortés, nominated for Best Coach
The boss of the Barça women’s team, Lluís Cortés, is one of the seven candidates for coach of the year, chosen by a panel of experts on women’s football.
Fans also get the chance to vote for the winner, and their choice is weighted equally to that of the media and the national managers and captains.

Graham and Hermoso, nominated players
Two of the FC Barcelona team have been named among the 11 short-listed for the women’s prize.
The voting system is exactly the same as for the coach, and polls are open now.

The three finalists in each category will be announced at a later date and the winners will be revealed at "The Best FIFA Football Awards" in Zurich on December 17.
