Ansu Fati has been named Liga player of the month for September following a spectacular start to the campaign, with two goals on the opening day against Villarreal and another at Balaídos against Celta.
The game against Villarreal was one of his best yet in the blaugrana jersey, in which he was also on the receiving end of the penalty that led to goal for Leo Messi. His goal against Celta was arguably the best of the three so far, and he also posted a fine display in the 1-1 draw with Sevilla.
Ansu Fati's fine performances have not gone unnoticed by Spain manager Luis Enrique, who has called him up for international duty this week. The teenager has also been confirmed as a full-time member of the Barça first team squad this year and is on the verge of setting a new record for the most goals ever scored by a Liga player before their 18th birthday.
