UEFA YOUTH LEAGUE: Bayern Munich 3-3 FC Barcelona

The Barça U19 team have another point for their collection in the UEFA Youth League after a hat-trick from Víctor Barberà turned around a 2-0 deficit in Bavaria, but the home side managed a late equaliser.

It leaves the Catalans joint top of the group with the same four points as Inter Milan, who beat Viktoria Plzen. The Italians will host Barça in game three. 

Bayern strike first

Things didn't get off to the best of starts when Barça were two goals down after half an hour. The first came Paul Wanner exploited an error in the Barça defence after just six minutes, and the second came when Herold nodded in a corner at the far post. 

Víctor Barberà hat-trick

But Barça refused to let the double setback get them down, and they were back on levels even before half-time. Víctor Barberà, on fire in Europe, first finished off some fine work by Alarcón and then completed a lovely passing move including himself, Ilias and Aleix Garrido.  

And after the break, Barberà made it three with a simply fabulous long-range strike. 

Late equaliser

But just when it looked like Barça were headed for three impressively earned points, Bayern managed to get back level through Lucas Copado, and that's how a cracking game of football ended.
