The match started with not too much to choose between either side, although the first chances were Levante's.

Little by little, Barça began to gain a foothold in the game, and Ilias, after a good cross from Angel, almost opened the scoring. Alegre also went close before Ilias finally broke the deadlock (0-1 , min. 39).

Reaction

In the second half, Sergi Milà's team went in search of the second, but first Ilias (min. 56) and then Álex Valle (min. 60) couldn't convert their chances. They were made to pay when Álex Cerdá drew the hosts level (1-1, min. 67).

Several subs came on for Barça in a bid to freshen things up, but the score remained the same. Everything will now be decided in the return leg at the Johan Cruyff Stadium (Sunday at 7.00pm CEST).
