Despite Juanda's early opener, the first game of 2023 ends all square

The first game of the year for the Barça reserves has ended in 1-1 draw away to UD Logroñés. An early goals promised better things but in the end the spoils were shared.
It had only taken four minutes for Juanda to get things off to the perfect start as he culminated a delightful team movethat saw a cross from Álvaro Nuñez struck by Víctor Barberá and entering with a rebound off the Colombian striker.
Both sides had chances to add to the scoring. but it was Logroñés who eventually did so five minutes into the second half, the goal coming from a Jorge Martínez just minutes after coming on for his debut. The goal spurred the home side on, and they actually found the net a second time but this time the offside flag was up.
Barça rode those moments of trouble and started to find their game again, but it wasn't enough to recover the lead.
The next game is at home to La Nucía on Sunday 15 January at 6pm CET.
