Barça B to play UCAM Murcia in Playoff semifinals

Barça B will play UCAM Murcia in the semifinals of the playoffs for promotion to the Segunda División, which kick off this Sunday at 12.00. The team will play at the Estadio Municipal Vicente Sanz de Don Benito.

Garcia Pimienta's side enjoyed a brilliant regular season and second phase, with five wins in the six games played. They finished second in their group, with 49 points.

How do the Playoffs work?

To earn promotion to the Segunda División, teams must progress from the semifinals and final -which will be held on the week of May 22-23 in Extremadura. A total of 16 teams will play in the semifinals, with 8 going through to the final and four winners receiving promotion.
