Lleida 0-1 Barça B: Prestigious victory

Barça B picked up a huge 1-0 win at Lleida decided by a Mika goal in a game that both sides played to full intensity. The result leaves the reserves third in the table.

Lleida gave Barça keeper Carevic plenty to think about early on, but the blaugrana gradually got more and more into the game and after Matheus had come frustratingly close, defender Mika finally found the net after collecting a loose ball following a corner and blasting it home after 25 minutes.

Collado and Rey Manaj had two chances each to extend the lead, while the downside to the game was an injury sustained by Álvaro Sanz after being on the wrong of one of many rash tackles from a Lleida aide that took a very physical approach to the game.

The home side piled on the late pressure in search of something, but Barça B managed to hold on to secure three very important points indeed.
