Barça B 4-0 Badalona: A convincing win

Collado (2), Rei Manaj and a Roger Colomina own goal ensured a third consecutive victory for Barça B

On the day that the Johan Cruyff Stadium hosted its 50th match, Garcia Pimienta's men beat Badalona to earn their third consecutive league victory, taking  them to second place in the table with 16 points. 

Great start

Things started well for Barça B after Roger Colomina put through his own net (1-0, min 6), however, the visitors then held firm until the break despite a chance for Lucas de Vega that was brilliantly saved by Álex Sánchez (min 15). Arnau Tenas, in the Barça goal kept out Néstor Albiach shortly after (min 17) to maintain the lead.

Advantage

Badalona put a little more pressure on the hosts in the second half, but Álex Collado took the game away from them (2-0, min 68). Once Alex Sánchez had been sent off for the visitors, Barça B took full advantage. Rei Manaj made it 3-0 with a penalty, Josep Jaume another to see red (min 87), before Collado rounded off the scoring with an Olympic goal straight from a corner (4-0, 90 minutes).
