Barça B 0-0 Badalona: Draw on return to the Johan Cruyff

Barça B have failed to win for the first time in the preseason. Badalona were the opposition in the first game at the Estadi Johan Cruyff for 206 days and much as they dominated the proceedings, they were unable to beat the well-organised visiting defence. Thus far, that’s three wins and one draw as the reserves continue preparations for official matches. 

Miranda, Maia and Orellana all came closest in a first half in which all the chances were for the home side. 

The restart brought more of the same. Gerard, Nils and Maia were all defied by Badalona’s excellent keeper Àlex. Coach Garcia Pimienta sent on a number of different players for the closing minutes, but still the elusive goal refused to come and it all ended without score.
