FC Barcelona, first Liga club to open BeReal account

The channel is part of the club's intention to connect with new audiences, here via a platform the promotes the creation of new spontaneous content every day

FC Barcelona continues to lead the way on social networks, this time by launching its own BeReal account, a platform that has existed since 2020 and which promotes more 'real' and spontaneous content. The club thus becomes the first in La Liga to feature on the service.

It is all part of the club's mission to use the digital realm to connect with new audiences by offering quality entertainment content, with the Barça name having been particularly driven in this way since the launch of its Barça Identity area.

More than 500 million followers on social networks

Barça will be using BeReal as a means to generate more natural and intimate content, in keeping with the way the platform itself works, whose main feature is the publication of unedited and unfiltered images in the moment, with users given just two minutes to create their content and post it. BeReal has more than 25 million users every day, 70% of whom are aged between 14 and 24.

FC Barcelona now has over 500 million followers of its social network, with Instagram leading the way (126 million users worldwide).
