Robert Lewandowski and Jana Fernández surprise Barça Academy Warsaw players at Ciutat Esportiva

FC Barcelona men’s and women’s team players Robert Lewandowski and Jana Fernández visited a group of forty or so players from Barça Academy Warsaw who are at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper for a few days on a training camp. The youngsters were stunned to be visited by the Polish superstar while enjoying a morning workout as part of their a 100% Barça experience this week..

They even got to have a quick kick-around with the current Liga top goalscorer and Ballon d’Or winner 2022, as well as asking him questions and getting some wise advice on their own possibilities of one day becoming professional footballers.

And they also got to meet Jana Fernández, a first team defender who joined the Barça setup after two years as a pupil at Barça Escola Barcelona. Jana joined the children in the training session and also spoke about what has now been more of a decade of life for her at FC Barcelona. Jana and Èric García are the two players at in the senior teams that were originally at Barça Escola, as was Héctor Bellerín until he recently departed.

This encounters between Barça Academy students and first team players are also being recorded to be included in the series ‘We are the Academy’ produced by Barça Studios and which will be screened in the coming months on BarçaTV+.
