Marta Plana i Dropez (Barcelona, September 18, 1978). FC Barcelona Member No. 56881. Degree in Law from the University of Barcelona and Juris Doctor with honors from Nova Southeastern University, she completed her studies at Stanford University and the London School of Economics.
Marta Plana has spent most of her professional life in Silicon Valley, where she has advised on and participated in the creation of various technology-based start-ups. Her professional career began at Baker & McKenzie, Microsoft Corp. and Osborne Clarke. Between 2011 and 2013 she was a Commissioner for the Telecommunications Market Commission (CMT). She also co-founded Digital Origin in 2015.
She is currently a Board Member of the Cercle d’Economia and president of the Foro Fintech, and regularly contributes to Bits Sin Fronteras, an NGO supporting the development of educational programs in Africa.
Her mother, Carme Drópez, was an FC Barcelona Board Member in the 1990s.
